HVA Athletics
Highland View Academy's athletic programs combine faith, discipline, and teamwork to empower students to excel in sports and glorify God, building a strong foundation for life through values like perseverance, integrity, and unity.
The Character Edge
Our athletic program is focused on helping our students to understand that character matters. Being a part of our athletic program is much more than just about winning games. We strive to instill values like integrity, perseverance and teamwork into every student athlete.

Tartan Bond
When you become a Tartan, you become part of the team for life. Our students learn valuable lessons about leadership, collaboration, and community by being a part of the team. Skills like this will serve them well, long after they graduate from high school.
ā
Complete Development
Our coaches and staff strive to help develop the “whole person”. We coach and lead in a way that encourages and promotes growth in the student athletically, socially, cognitively, and especially spiritually. We believe that physical and mental well-being are essential for success in all areas of life. Our athletic program prioritizes building fundamentals that will benefit the student in any vocational field that they are called to enter.

Faith in Action
At Highland View Academy we believe that faith and sports go hand in hand. Our athletic program provides a unique opportunity for students to integrate their faith into their passion for sports, developing a stronger spiritual foundation and a sense of purpose that will guide them for years to come. We seek opportunities to give back to our local community, thus making the lives of others better.

The Lord encourages us to do things to the best of our ability as stated in Colossians 3:23,24 “Whatever you do [whatever your task may be], work from the soul [that is, put in your very best effort], as [something done] for the Lord and not for men, knowing [with all certainty] that it is from the Lord [not from men] that you will receive the inheritance which is your [greatest] reward. It is the Lord Christ whom you [actually] serve. (AMP)! Our athletic program focuses on having fun, doing things the right way (not necessarily the popular way), and building relationships and habits that will last an eternity!

Volleyball
“Attitude is a little something that makes a big difference between volleyball success and volleyball failure.”
Last night my Lady Tartans proved that to be true. On or off the court they stayed cheering and in good spirits; whether we were winning or not. Our second game of the season and my freshmen stepped up to the plate! As a team, we won best out of 3 sets. Our team captain Adilynn (#7) did a great job at leading the team, Alba (#) got us the lead with her unstoppable serves, Bella (#14) and Mollie (#15) did great hitting/blocking, and let’s not forget my Libero Gabi (#5) whose always ready to get after it. I am so proud of us, let’s keep up the good work Tartans!!
