Meet Our
Music Director
Dr. David Nino has taught at Colombia Adventist University, Northern Caribbean University, and several High school institutions in North America. Dr. Nino loves teaching and working with youth and adult musicians, he writes musical arrangements and original works for choirs, band, handbells and other musical ensembles (visit: www.allpraise.net). His music has been performed in the U.S.A, Canada, South America and Asia. Dr. Nino has also being invited for clinics, workshops, and as a guest conductor to several SDA music festivals including Florida, Ohio, North Carolina, Virginia, Maryland, California, and overseas countries such as the Philippines, Colombia and Mexico.
Dr. Nino holds a bachelor in Music Education, from the Adventist University of Colombia, a Master's in Music with emphasis in Music theory/composition from West Texas A&M University, and a doctoral degree in Educational Leadership from the American College of Education in Indiana. For his dissertation, Dr. Nino carried a qualitative case-study directed to band directors about the use of cooperative learning strategies as teaching strategy in the band class.
